That's one of the reason I haven't really been able to search for an answer, because searching for anything that involves the keywords of "Kindle", "book", and "PDFs" tends to just give me options to transfer a PDF from a PC to the Kindle which isn't what I need. Thank you and I'm sorry if this sounds confusing. Is there a way I can not only move it from "Files" but instead have it show up with my other books under the "Kindle" app but also have all of those features? But the entire top list of features such as the search, text options, notes, share feature, flash cards, and bookmarks are all missing. Instead I can only flip through pages and when I tap on it to zoom out I only have the bottom section to scroll through pages. The PDF is under "Files", however whenever I open these PDFs they're opening through "Kindle" but just as regular PDFs and I cannot highlight, take notes, or even tap on it to get the entire list of options at the top. However I also have some study material for various certifications I'm working on that aren't accessible through that subscription and I've purchased the books which come with a free PDF version of them that I have downloaded onto the tablet.
